Hi, my name is Doug Suarez. For the last 13 years I have been a Hearing Instrument Specialist with Audibel and Hammers Hearing. I was born and raised in Peru, IL and currently live in Peru with my wife, Breanne and my 3 sons. My family and I hold a great importance on community and family, as they have owned and operated Koolmaster Co, Inc for over 60 years, and after receiving my Bachelor’s Degree from Illinois State University, I knew I wanted to work somewhere that held the same values and beliefs as my family and I. Having known the Hammers family since high school, I knew they were a family I wanted to work with, and that is when I found my passion in helping people to achieve better hearing. Being able to reconnect people with the world around them is not only a fulfilling career, but it is also life changing.
Not only do I love the relationships that I am able to build with my patients, but I love getting to see, first hand, their reactions to sounds that they have not heard in a very long time, if ever. My name is Kathy Smoode and I have worked in the medical field for over 25 years. I enjoy working with people, am very outgoing, and I’m always willing to help wherever I can. I am very confident that I will exceed in this position as I am willing to take on any challenge and learn all new things that come my way.
